Are you interested in capturing executive interviews, customer testimonials, product demos, breakout or panel sessions? Maybe you‘d like to capture some keynote speakers. Or maybe you’re imagining a standout highlight video of the entire event to elevate your social media presence? No worries.
In-person event coverage is one of our specialties. We regularly work conferences, conventions, exhibitions, trade shows, summits, and festivals. If it's happening in and around an event venue, or an off-site private party location, we got you covered!
Event Mode.
As creatives, we take great delight in the visual opportunities that unfold when people network at in-person events. Our videos consistently showcase engaging images of people captivated in these shared interests and experiences. Years of experience have given us an almost instinctive ability to anticipate and capture these genuinely authentic moments. As visual artists, these events offer endless inspiration and creative opportunities.
Over the years, our portfolio has included everything from capturing BTS of the Westminster Dog Show at Madison Square Garden to filming dozens of musical performances, interviewing celebrities, and even flying drones over active volcanoes in Iceland. We’ve attended in-person events across much of the U.S., returning to cities like Las Vegas and Orlando more times than we can count.
The number of crew members needed will depend on the schedule and the scope of what we need to capture. However, most objectives can often be accomplished with a very small crew. Regardless of the crew size, we remain mindful of our presence and aim to minimize disruption. Whether loading and setting up equipment, engaging with a VIP, or discreetly capturing BTS of customer interactions, our team always upholds the highest standards of care and professionalism. Our perspective is simple: A business endures only as long as it satisfies its customers.
Below are a few samples of our event work.
Toyota Motor North America - HQ Grand Opening
This highlight video was created from the Grand Opening ceremonies of the billion-dollar, state-of-the-art North American Toyota Headquarters located in Plano, Texas. Jumpsuit was hired as part of a large production team. Our assignment was to capture and assemble a highlight video of the event making use of all the available recorded material, including aerial drone and GoPro footage, as well as local news sources.

Q2 Stadium Tour - B2B Marketing
This video highlights an event showcasing Austin’s Q2 stadium. It was a rare opportunity to shoot throughout the stadium with few restrictions. The project took place over several hours, requiring 3 cameras and an advance audio setup for a panel of speakers and audience Q&A.

NXP Semiconductors - CES
This video is a 15-minute continuous take, filmed while the CES pavilion was open to attendees. We met NXP’s CTO, Lars Reger, outside the pavilion (where the video begins) and, after mic’ing his lapel, commenced our walk-and-talk. There was minimal discussion beforehand, no rehearsal, and no retakes. Our directive was simply to follow him as he discussed various technologies. Anticipating his movements, navigating the crowded space, and maintaining a consistent frame was a performance in itself. The RF audio interference in the pavilion was a known issue. To address this technical challenge, we used a redundant two-microphone setup on different frequencies.

Alen Air Purifiers - BTS Commercial
This behind-the-scenes video of the making of a commercial (shot during COVID-19 and featuring Alen’s former CEO, Andy Graham) may seem like a departure from typical event work, but our approach to capturing the entire atmosphere of a production like this is the same as when we create a highlight video for a conference.

Silicon Labs - Embedded World
This video was captured during an Embedded World event and is a classic example of a booth demo video. While this was captured on a tripod using professional A/V equipment, smaller devices and even consumer phones can be perfectly legitimate capture sources, depending on your needs. Smaller handheld devices can also foster a more relaxed, informal atmosphere, which can be especially beneficial for less experienced presenters. Additionally, their portability, vertical format options, and ease of direct social media uploads often make them a preferred choice over pro equipment.

Salon Promo - Aveda Event Day
Similar to the Alen BTS video, the creative approach used to craft this video (shot over 5 hours using available light only), is essentially the same as creating a highlight video for any event. The music and pacing can be slow or fast, it can include text, photos, clips with diegetic audio, etc., etc. The common goal among all these videos is the desire to generate excitement (and perhaps a touch of envy) by expeditiously showcasing an event in the most favorable and engaging way possible.

*Our 4K DJI Mini 3 Pro drone weighs under 249 g and does not require an FAA pilot license to operate. Under normal weather conditions, this lightweight drone facilitates hassle-free flying. However, depending on flight restrictions, whether for recreational or commercial use, drones may be entirely prohibited from flying in certain areas. In other cases, special approval at a local or federal level may be necessary. Therefore, it's always advisable to secure proper flight approval before the event. Additionally, flying inside public buildings is commonly prohibited.
Post-production.
Image acquisition is only part of what makes our work stand out. Our editing skills is why the images we capture works so well together. We provide comprehensive post-production services, including editorial, motion graphics, and stock music acquisition. Since post-production schedules are highly customizable and can vary greatly to accommodate a wide range of possibilities based on specific wants and must-haves, our post-production services and related costs are separate from our production costs and are not included in the base production package. Due to this flexibility, our post-production editorial services are based on an hourly rate. Although post-production typically begins in the days or weeks following an event, we also offer quick-turnaround editorial services on-site during the event.
